Hey, I'm looking for equipment blouses... Like the plain solid ones, have you seen "low $" versions of them around?

Joe Fresh (if you are in Canada or NYC) has a nice plain silk blouse that is super affordable. And I have seen them pop up on theoutnet from time to time.

I like buying both originals and knock offs. There was a phase where I needed to revamp my wardrobe and just bought designer stuff. I was really attracted to the idea of owning few but high quality pieces. By the end of the year, I ended up selling or donating most of it because I realized they didn't fit my lifestyle, they were too dressy or too precious or they were simply not my style. It was a HUGE waste of money and an expensive lesson to say the least! Since then, I vowed to only buy things, whether high street or high end designer, after a lot of consideration. Now I only buy knock offs if I'm experimenting with a new look and never again will I fall into the fallacy of only quality pieces. I think that only works if you don't like variety and don't care to experiment with different styles.

Having said that, the only constant for me in buying knockoffs almost exclusively are handbags, but my shoes are almost all designer with a few exceptions. What goes on my feet better be comfortable or else I will not wear them, but bags I like to change up so I don't mind if they are an imitation, as long as I like the style and are don't fall apart after a few uses.

I agree that while beautiful high end designer items are not exactly a fit for most people. I have actually consigned most of what I had picked up on sales here and there. I think the only item I have left is a DVF top but it sits in my closet most of the time. I tend to buy what I like to call upscale casual items because I know I will wear them alot.

Spending more on shoes is a must I agree because of the comfort factor. And I don't see the point in spending thousands on a designer handbag when you can pick up beautiful bags for a couple hundred or less.
