Winter boot upgrade

We are having a multi day snow even in southern Ontario. We are supposed to be getting 30 – 50 (maybe even 70!) centimeters of snow depending where in the province you live. It looks very festive and definitely adds to that Christmasy season look. But it also means pulling out winter boots because there is snow to shovel.

Winter Boot Upgrade

  1. Bogner Boots – These have more of a hiking boot look but make it chic. I could see myself walking around Christmas markets in these boots. But they are more for where there is minimal snow or it is all shovelled and managed.
  2. Max Mara shearling boots – these just look like luxury right? These feel like they would be at home at a ski chalet.
  3. Inuikii – these remind me of a highland cow but in the best way. These are fabulous.
  4. Joan of Arctic – I had a pair of these for years. And if you are going to be out in deep snow, or doing winter activities these are a really good option. BUT they are heavy. Not great if you want to do some winter hiking.
  5. Sorel Caribou – These are another classic Sorel option. Again very good for snow. Another practical option that will last for years.
  6. Sorel Whitney – this is closer to the style I have now. These have a more flexible sole, more like a sneaker but a well insulated sneaker. These are great for walking and are so lightweight. But they are short so not great for deep snow.
  7. Nowles Boot – I have a pair of these I got a few years ago on deep discount. They have a hidden wedge heel though so these are very much a fashion boot. But a fashion boot that is shearling lined so super warm.
  8. Moon Boot – These are an it girl style of boot. I feel like they are so ridiculous I love them, but that is true of many of the styles I have shared here. But cold feet are no joke so I would very gladly wear a big but warm over the top boot.
  9. Lousanne Shearling lined Boot – this is another chic hiking boot look style. The quality of this brand of boots is top notch. These even have an option to have spikes to better walk on ice. You know these were designed for proper winter.

Do you need winter boots where you live?
