World Mastercard Fashion Week Day 3; What I wore to Joe Fresh

I was side tracked with a head cold for Day 2 of World Mastercard Fashion week and so we skip straight to Day 3. This had another hot ticket with the Joe Fresh show, but it wasn't the stand out for me; that was Mathew Gallagher.

The weather had turned quite cold here in Toronto seamingly overnight and I was a little leary going bare legged but staying warm everywhere else seemed to work. Plus the tents are well heated.

I wore my leather biker jacket from Danier more as a top then a jacket. Underneath I had a printed tee but I didn't even unzip as I was most comfortable just like this. I loved the contrast between the tomato red in the skirt and the more berry hue of the purse. I think it just works.

The first show of the night for me was Mathew Gallegher which as I said above was my favourite. It instantly transported us to Palm Beach. The colour pallet was a mix of white, pink, cream and a pop of turquoise.

The second show was Mackage. As like many of the designers showing leathers for spring this collection had a definite safari feel with alot of kahki and olive greens.

Contrast sleeves on trench coats and biker jackets continue for spring. My favourite from the Mackage SS14 collection were the fantastic silver mirror belts and perforated leather.

Joe Fresh was the last show of the night and is always packed. It started out a little slow for me. All the raw denim wasn't really a big hit for me. The stand out pieces for me were the Asian inspired prints, soft snakeskin, even a fab snakeskin bag!

Over all Day 3 of World Mastercard Fashion week was a night of fun fashion and lots of inspiration for getting dressed this spring.
