This weekend I took my daughter to the birthday party of one of her pre-school classmates. It was a super casual affair with classic party games, a pinata, pizza and cake.
So naturally I just stuck with my usual Mom wear but added some subtle jewellery and cute boots.

These jeans have replaced all other wider legged denim I have as my favourites for two reasons. The flare on the leg is a bit wider and more retro and the fit in the bum is FANTASTIC.
By far my favourite spring wear has been the utility coat I picked up at Club Monaco before Toronto Fashion Week. I have been wearing it constantly and just layering up when the weather is cooler. I have basically put away all my winter coats for the season. The one I am wearing is on sale at Club Monaco right now but if you are looking for a spring jacket with a bit more cool factor I like this utility jacket with Navajo sleeves from Asos.
