Wearing a large scarf as a cape
So we survived the first week of school! Figured out how to get up every morning pack a lunch and manage the chilly mornings.
This fall transition weather can be tough to dress for as it is cool in the mornings but even by the walk back home after drop off can be significantly warmer.

Obviously this worked out. The scarf was actually way bigger than I was expecting and it immediately reminded me of this pin. And to be honest I like my look better because I am just in love with this tartan.

Create the look yourself:
How are you managing cool early mornings? Are you throwing on a scarf or a favourite jacket?

Hi,
I just found your blog a few weeks ago and I really enjoy reading your posts. I used to live in T.O., but I'm in the States now. I love this outfit! What a cool way to wear a scarf. I really like the beige in it and it goes so well with your jeans, boots and hat. The first photo is really perfect! I don't blog but I like to read them.
Thank you so much Florence!
The scarf is beautiful and works perfectly as a cape. And the hat? Stunning! Thank you for linking up with Hat Attack.
Thank you! And thank you for hosting the link up 🙂
Great look and I especially appreciate the personal creativity behind this fabulous ensemble!
Hi! I just came across your blog while 'researching' my own post on this scarf! I've got such grief about it since I got it ... with people asking me if I brought a blanket with me for an impromptu picnic and not seeing what a super-stylish accessory it is. I adore how you've styled yours and allow me to take up this suggestion when wearing mine! 🙂 x mar.s.
lol some people just don't get fashion I guess. I love it! And it is super warm. My guess is they will be wishing they had it in January!
