The New Suit

I may not have a corporate job right now, but one thing that I took away from my time going to an office regularly was the power of the blazer. Whether it is jeans or dress pants or a pencil skirt a great blazer takes an outfit to the next level and really finishes it off.

A blazer defines the waist, provides structure and can hide a million little things you don’t what to show.

Plus if you are afraid of colour you can tone down a bright top with a neutral blazer.

These corduroy trousers were the ones I found in the closet on the weekend and I love that they have a more traditional cut but because they are corduroy they are more casual. I used to pull them out on like a Thursday, when I really wanted it to be casual friday but it wasn’t.
