Sometimes I wear black it is true. Most of the time it is in the form of black jeans or black cashmere paired with other colours. And even if I am feeling the whole dark and gloomy vibe I am more likely to pair black with navy than to go all black.
This outfit isn’t colourless. But it feels so out of my comfort zone. I mean most people gravitate towards black coats and it is something I have not done. What drew me to this coat was the texture more than the fact it was black. The other colour was camel which I already had so it didn’t seem like a great fit for my wardrobe. I chose black by default.
What I am trying to share is that pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone is a good thing. I really like this outfit even though it isn’t something I naturally gravitate towards.
