Best of Boots

When the temperatures drop I promptly go from wearing sandals and flats back to my boot wardrobe. Boots are basically how I get through the winter. I thought I would do a round up of my favourite boots that I got the most wear out of this year.

wrap coat, snake boots everlane

Best office bootThe Boss boot. I now own this boot in two different leathers. The snake and the pebbled leather. If I had to choose one I would recommend the pebbled leather. It is so soft you will have virtually no break in time. Note that the snake pair was gifted by the brand however I bought the pebbled pair myself a year or so ago.

Best snow bootThe Nordic Boot. This is the winter boot I wear the most. I love the style. I love that they are actually super warm. They handle wet snow better than a regular pair of UGG boots. But when it gets super slushy I switch to these, but they aren’t as warm as the Nordic boot.

Everlane Western Boot

Best western bootThe Western Boot (gifted) – I have a black pair of western inspired boots from Zara that have seen better days that I just won’t let go. But with these suede western boots I might just be ok with it now. I love the colour of the suede, I love the big elastic panel which makes getting these boots on a breeze. I love that they are western inspired but minimal at the same time.

Best animal print boot The Reagan Boot – I got these last year and admittedly didn’t wear them as much as I should have due to my knee injury. But I love them. The perfect almond toe and the leopard print is so classic. The heel is slightly higher than the Everlane boots but totally fine for say a day at the office.

Best Low Heel boot – Yale Boot – I wore these boots to death. Like they actually died. The lining inside is all destroyed and the suede is so dirty. But I love the style so much I would buy it again. There is a snake style that looks super cool and basic black and even leopard. The Yollie style looks pretty similar TBH. The best part about this is the heel is only 1.5 inches. Most of my other boots are 2 or 2.5. Which really isn’t sky high but the lower heel is more casual and walkable.

You might notice that half the recommended styles are from Everlane which is no surprise as they have become my go to for shoes in the last five years. Madewell and L’Intervalle are others I trust to make good quality boots.

If you are looking for a boot Everlane is putting their Day Boot on sale for $175USD. I don’t know that I have ever seen Everlane put their boots in their sale section so this is a great way to get a bit of a deal.

While I haven’t tried this style myself I have heard other bloggers rave about these boots. I have the Day Glove flat and the Day loafer and I can attest to the leather being buttery soft.
