Last night I gave everyone in our family matching PJs. I was never one to go that route. I would buy matching pajamas for my kids but never went so far as to buy the same ones for my husband and I as well. Mostly because we don’t all shop in the same place. But also it was never really a thing until the last few years. And sure they look fantastic in a styled photo but they don’t really matter when it comes to actual sleeping. This year I went ahead and got a set for all four of us on a whim. The unexpected result was that the kids were thrilled to be matching with us. I didn’t think they would think this was so cool. So my advice this year is to just get the matching PJs already.
This is the set that I bought my family. Personally I think the kids version is a bit cuter with those red cuffs than the womens and mens. And why is the womens sold in separates and why is it waffle while the rest of the family isn’t? Who knows. Still it is a cute set and super cozy.
This matching set has a nordic vibe doesn’t it? Feels a bit retro too.
These feel a bit more winter lumberjack but I am here for it. You can also get buffalo plaid flannel pjs here or even a more mix and match option here if you don’t want to match exactly. What about a green buffalo plaid? So cute!
There are also countless options at Target but their cheese factor is off the charts. Like this elf set or Santa set or this fair isle set. They are super affordable so you just have to decide if you want cute pjs or something a bit sillier.
Silly or not just get the matching pjs. Your kids will love dressing like Mommy and Daddy.
