Christmas Red Parka

The single most searched item that brought people to my little corner of the internet was this coat. Clearly a bunch of people were shopping it, many of the neutral colours are sold out in sizes but my red is mostly available.

I love the hot pink lining and because the sleeves are a bit long for me I love that you can see that hot pink contrast when I roll them up.

Red to me always feels Christmas-y but I wanted to play into that even more with my accessories. Chunky knit hat, green plaid scarf and red laces in my boots all make this casual outfit scream Holiday.

Just like red most plaid scarves instantly add a Christmasy touch. Of course assuming you pick a plaid with red, white and green, maybe a bit of gold. Mine is from last year but I found some others that will work well.

Another top searched item over Black Friday were these boots. They are toasty warm and I love the look of them with the red laces. Perfect for frigid winters. If it is more slushy where you live try this style instead.

Do you play up Christmas colours at this time of year? I know it might be cheesey but I love to lean into the season. Maybe not every day but definitely multiple times a week and for occasions.
