Polka Dot Dress and a Leather Jacket

I have been searching for a polka dot dress for some time now and found this one when I was wandering through H&M. I know immediately that it was coming home with me.

I have worn it styled like this a few times already, including the curriculum night for my daughter's school.

What I like about this dress is that the longer short sleeves mean that it doesn't scream summer. I can pair it with tights and knee high boots for winter and it will totally work.

For this warm transition season we are having bare legs and my red Miu Miu flats were perfect.

Part of what made me go for this polka dot dress over others was the small polka dot print and the tie at the neck which I think plays into the retro feel of the dress.
