I had originally bought this leather pleated skirt for an event (Holt Renfrew Powder Puff) and then I was sick so I couldn’t go. So instead I am looking forward to wearing it during Toronto Fashion Week coming up in March.
I am really loving the juxtaposition of a very lady like skirt, but toughened up in leather.
I do have to watch, since I am on the curvier side, that I pair this skirt with lighter tops so that I don’t look dumpy.
But skinnier, or taller girls could likely pair this with a chunky knit and end up looking really cool.
I would say if you are going to order this skirt for yourself that you could size down. This skirt has alot of volume and the elastic waist is forgiving.
It is also surprisingly light, which means I might actually get more wear out of it in the late spring than I thought.
