Layering up

turtleneck under sleeveless top, layering, peplum topOne of the things about winter is putting away our favourite warm weather clothing and bundling up in sweaters and coats. But sometimes there are items that you just don’t want to put away. But at the same time it is just too damn cold for sleeveless tops without a way to layer them up.

Enter the turtleneck. But not the turtlenecks that you wear on the ski slopes. Not this is a tissue thin, easy to layer top without adding extra bulk.

It is possible that a white blouse could work too but with the neck on this peplum top (now on SUPER SALE) is quite high so a turtleneck just seemed to work more seamlessly. Also with out any buttons the underlayer is smooth and comfortable.

How do you layer up for the winter?

That top is so great! I love the pattern, it's such a nice contrast to our gray winter days. xo styleontheside.com
