Grrrrr Baby Grrrr; my take on the fur vest

I have been stalking so many style bloggers lately and they all seem to have one thing in common, besides being arm party fanatics, and that’s the fur vest.

But unlike earlier in the season when it was cool to drape their vests, be them faux or vintage fur, over everything from leather jackets to flowery dresses, it is getting COLD in Toronto, and so I am zipped up to the brim.

I have been scouring the Boxing Week sales for faux fur and am pumped that I got this sheepskin one at Zara. I had actually been looking at them back when I was still pregnant in the fall and couldn’t really figure out what my size was going to be when I was back to well my size. Zara can fit small so I really didn’t want to guess and get it wrong.

I was also looking at some of the longer vests. They were at Zara and Club Monaco, but being shorter I thought this might make me look like an Ewok so I decided to pass.

I love the look of layering a fur vest over a leather jacket as I did above, but I think it is a fairly safe look. I want to see what else I can pair this with from my closet to give it anything from a rocker vibe to a more 70’s look.

What are you pairing your faux fur vest with?
