Fuzzy White Kitty

When I first wore this coat my daughter was in awe of the collar. She thought it looked like a fuzzy white kitty. I think it is some of the best faux fur ever.

I have been day dreaming about an oversized coat like this one for some time now. Alot of people have been I think as this and this have been super popular posts this fall. Originally I really wanted this coat (but it sold out), and the Taylor Coat from Club Monaco (as seen on Blair) was high on my list but a bit expensive. It also sold out as I was waiting for it to go on sale. The coat above I had admired on the Asos site, but it was when I saw it via this post by Gary Pepper Girl (aka Nicole Warne) (love her earmuffs too!) during her adventures in Iceland that I just said YES! and bought it.

The great thing about these oversized coats is that they actually have room for all the winter layers we wear underneath them. Unlike fit and flare style coats that cinch at the waist this style of coat shouldn’t get all lumpy if you are wearing a chunky sweater underneath.

I found this coat true to size, but I wanted it to be a bit oversized. If you are looking for a sleeker fit you would be ok to size down.

As a Canadian you really can’t have too many cold weather coats. Because let’s face it, when we are out and about the rest of the outfit just gets hidden under a great coat. Don’t you think?
