Flower Blazer in Winter

floral blazer, winter outfitBack when I did an outfit remix round up of all the ways I had worn this floral blazer I accepted the challenge from myself to style it for winter.

It is hard for the blazer not to take center stage but I decided to let it pop with an all black background.

zara flower blazer, black turtleneck, winter outfitI actually took these pictures a few weeks ago. We actually have WAY more snow right now after getting dumped on Wednesday. It means that for the foreseeable future I will be burying my outfits under parkas and my sorels. I really miss shoes.

zara floral blazer, flower jacket, black wide leg pantsPart of the reason I didn’t post these originally was because I thought choosing an all black canvas was a bit too easy, even though I like the end result. Still I think the jacket would look fantastic with an olive green pant of some sort which would bring out the dark greens in the foliage of the pattern.

How would you style this floral blazer for Winter?

So sick of all the snow! I just want to wear florals, color and fun shoes. You did it right.

Ugh Iva me too. If I was off skiing it would be perfect but not for hanging in the city.

I love florals in winter. The black base grounds them nicely. Perfect styling!
