Today marks the opening of World Mastercard Fashion Week in Toronto and I will be trying to attend as many shows as I can.
I haven’t spent as much time planning outfits as I probably should but I have alot of inspiration to work with.

I have made no secret of my love affair with animal print and my recent cheetah coat acquisition just screams Fashion Week. I have put away most of my winter coats except my vintage cheetah coat.
I am thoroughly obsessed with cobalt this season. And surprisingly how much it shows up in street style photos I would have expected to see more of it in the stores so far this Spring (or pre-spring). Still cobalt is going to show up in my fashion week wardrobe in small doses.
Leather pleats to me have this wonderful mix of tough and ladylike. I love the way it is styled in all black but I have something different planned for mine. In fact my leather pleated skirt might make the first outfit of the week.
The final inspiration picture is of the Vogue Paris girls. What I love about them, as well as all the photos I have posted is that while they look utterly chic they also look approachable and real. Not like a character. They don’t look like they dressed up for fashion week so they could get captured by streetstyle photographers but just look like they got dressed. And they are amazing at it.
