Big Red

I am all dressed up with no where to go. I was hoping to wear this out to an event sometime soon or even out to dinner but my husband broke his collar bone a few weeks ago and leaving him with the kids while I do fashion events is a no go right now.

But this skirt was just too pretty not to share!

I am not sure how I stumbled upon this skirt (sure I do I spend way too much time online), but the whole line is fantastic. If you haven't checked out the 424 Fifth line from Lord & Taylor (also at The Hudson's Bay for Canadians), you need to; so many fantastic clothes.

The skirt comes in this gorgeous pale blue as well, and there are pictures of a longer version in a fun citron colour but I haven't actually seen that online yet. Still the shape is amazing. I got it in a size 8 because I wanted it to sit at my natural waist, so I guess my recommendation is to size down if you are buying one for yourself. If you want to sit a bit lower and looser than stick to your usual size.

Because it is still very cold and wintery I chose to pair my tall boots and stripes with the gorgeous red. But can't you imagine it paired with leopard? Or plaid for Christmas? This skirt is a must have.
