One of the first places I picked up some end of season finds was American Eagle, which is really random because I don't really shop there anymore. It was more somewhere I would go just around university for weekend tees and jeans. Anyways I saw this toque and though for the price it was a fun alternative to the other hats I had in my closet.
This is also another attempt at layering my leather jacket to fake some leather lapels. This time around didn't work as well as this version as the way the outer coat is cut doesn't allow for the leather to sit nicely. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. I was really impressed at how warm this combination was; cutting out all the wind.
Outfit details: Boucle Coat DKNY via Marshalls, leather jacket Danier (similar), jeans Midrise toothpick from JCREW, boots Joe Fresh (similar), stripe tee Gap, knit toque American Eagle, sunglasses Maui Jim.
Hi Kristy, if I remember correctly it was around $130, but I bought it back when winter coats first came out, (octoberish) so if you find it now it should be on sale.
I love that tuque. It looks like it's handmade, and I like how it pairs with your coat.
Thanks Liana! Definitely not handmade but I love the pattern and colours.
Love that jacket thinking of going to Marshalls tomorrow to see if I can get lucky and find it! Would you mind sharing how much was it?
Thanks!
