As a petite girl I have always been on the fence about the Maxi Dress trend. And yet I have seen a number of petite bloggers pull them off super well.
I have had this almost maxi dress in my closet for a while now and I have never really worn it all that much. Partly because of the strapless top which makes it extremely seasonal or vacation only.
Paired with a denim shirt, this dress is taken from hot summer days to transitional weather ready.
I am kind of obsessed with the pockets in this dress, that and the print. But the pockets make it so much easier to squirrel away dropped soothers, kleenex, camera remotes …

When it comes right down to it, this is a super comfortable option for day. In fact this was option number 1 for a baby shower I went to this past weekend.

Thank you! I am at the "tall" end of petite at 5'4 but it becomes obvious fast when standing next to tall girls. Part of the beauty of getting the photography right I guess. And heels ;)
