Animal Print isn't just for Cougars

I am not sure if it is my age, or reading style blogs or just that it seems to be popular these days but I can't get enough of animal print.

And I finally got my hand on an animal print cardigan that had a print that I thought was somewhat authentic and I figured would fit easily into my wardrobe.

Even though I like animal print for accessories as a pop to an outfit, I think I like this cardigan even more. It definitely takes alot more courage to wear this!

Bracelets: Serpent wrap and Spike bracelet Stella & Dot.

On a different note you will notice my outfit also consists of a denim on denim pairing. With the two very different tones of denim and the leopard print, it is anything but the stereotypical Canadian Tuxedo.

Styling Tip: If you are paring a button down shirt with a cardigan, thread the shirt sleeves through the cardigan BEFORE you put it on. It will save you all the awkward adjusting that you will have to do if you try to put them on while on your body.

What is your comfort zone for animal print? Do you like it in small doses like accessories or do you go all out?

  1. Love the animal print!! Mind you I did live in Texas for a time, where that kind of stuff is commonplace...LOL. Anyway, I actually like this with the chambray shirt, I haven't been able to get my head wrapped around chambray shirts again just yet, but in this look I really like it! Well done!

  2. Ladies,
In this day and age why should we limit what we wear due to stigma?
We have the freedom and choice to wear what looks great.
Any fashionista who dares to wear animal print gets a gold star in my books! 😀
