I rarely post anything really formal in terms of outfits on this blog because it just isn’t what I wear on a regular basis. Still there comes an occaision even for the homi-est homebody to get all dolled up.
Outfit details; Dress & Shoes JCREW (both old, similar here & here), Belt Vintage via I Miss You Vintage (similar), Jewellery Stella & Dot.
I tried to shop for a dress, but nothing I found worked and I had two similar options in different colours in my closet. And since I don’t like to wear black to weddings I went with the polar opposite. PINK!
It was surprisingly warm for late October, still I did have an embellished Zara shrug from eons ago that I pulled on later in the night. I let the dress do most of the talking but it needed something so I put on the vintage gold belt.
I went with the gold theme and paired the dress with my yellow shoes.
To me bright colours bring out the happiness we all feel at weddings into an outfit. I wear my heart on my sleeve so it seems.
