Belted Maxi Dress; transition to the summer dress
As a petite girl I have always been on the fence about the Maxi Dress trend. And yet I have seen a number of petite bloggers pull them off super well.
I have had this almost maxi dress in my closet for a while now and I have never really worn it all that much. Partly because of the strapless top which makes it extremely seasonal or vacation only.
Paired with a denim shirt, this dress is taken from hot summer days to transitional weather ready.
I am kind of obsessed with the pockets in this dress, that and the print. But the pockets make it so much easier to squirrel away dropped soothers, kleenex, camera remotes ...

When it comes right down to it, this is a super comfortable option for day. In fact this was option number 1 for a baby shower I went to this past weekend.

Thank you! I am at the "tall" end of petite at 5'4 but it becomes obvious fast when standing next to tall girls. Part of the beauty of getting the photography right I guess. And heels 😉
