The Daily Edited Clear Travel Case Review

Back when we traveled to Paris we flew with carry on luggage only for the first time ever. Usually I am not too fussed about how I am packing my toiletries and makeup. However with carry on travel you need to have your liquids in a 1 quart container. Zip lock bags are fine but I wanted a transparent case that I wanted to carry around. Not just a zip lock bag that would be discarded after the trip. The Daily Edited Clear Travel Case Review will share why I chose this cosmetic case over the other guys and why it is worth the splurge.

The Daily Edited Clear Travel Case Review

The Daily Edited clear travel case is made of clear PVC plastic and saffiano leather. It has two pockets. One is slightly larger than the other and one has an elastic to keep things in place. Full zip closures and gold hardware. You can also personalize your travel case.

Is this travel case TSA Approved?

The short answer is no. But neither are any of the others out there since the TSA doesn’t go around approving travel cases.

They offer rough guidelines of what they want you to use. TSA wants you to use a clear bag that is approximately 1 quart in size which they give as 6 inches x 9 inches. They don’t give a three dimensional size option.

Most of the bags that say they are “TSA approved” are not even truly TSA compliant since their bags are over the one quart requirement. If a 6 x 9 bag has any depth it will be bigger than one quart.

That being said the TSA guidelines are just that guidelines. As long as the case is generally 6 x 9 you are unlikely to have any problems. This case is 8.5 x 4.5, so within the two dimensional guidelines of the TSA. But with the depth you get loads of extra space.

I traveled to Paris using this clear travel case and was not even questioned.

How much can you pack?

I can pack so much in this case. You can easily pack your makeup and skin care. As you can see in the picture you can even fit a full Naked Reloaded eye pallet perfectly. I ended up packing way more than I needed just because I had the space. Which means makeup junkies will love this case!

You need to make sure you are using 100 ML bottles for all your toiletries. I was able to fit my reusable bottles no problem in addition to all the makeup I packed.

The two compartments make it easy to keep your makeup and your skincare separate.

If you are worried about not having enough space, keep all your dry products in a different case and save this one for your liquids.

What I like about this case is that you can see everything you pack without even opening it up. I also like that there is so much room! I like that you can get the personalization and that the branding is inside the case not on the outside. I also like that the case is structured.

I have the Taupe colour but the case comes in a bunch of different colours. It also comes in a larger size. Keep in mind the larger size would definitely not be TSA compliant. You can also buy it as part of a set to get both the smaller and larger versions. There is also a cosmetic case style but personally I prefer the travel case. It looks more chic.
