Summer Sandal Round-Up

It is bound to get warm sooner or later. I have gone sockless a few times this spring but I haven’t exactly busted out my sandals into full time rotation yet.

Still that doesn’t mean I am not looking to see what is out there. These are the summer sandals that have caught my eye.

1. Sole Society Sable (I fell in love with this buckle style and gorge colour so I picked a pair up for myself)

2. Salt Water Sandals (this is a classic style for kids that does a Mommy & Me grown up version in their original style)

3. Sole Society Karin (love the lace up detail done a little differently here)

4. Suede lace-up cage pumps (these are a vampy lace up style that would look great with a dress or boyfriend jeans)

5. Fray Gladiator Sandals (seriously if you aren’t on board with the lace up gladiator now is the time)

6. A La Plage Positano Flat Sandals (this classic understated sandal will be the one that you wear to death until it falls apart)

7. Sole Society Gracee (love the colour and this flat is pretty enough to hold its own with a girly midi skirt)

8. Sole Society Tamia (this style is at the top of my wish list. Love the asymmetrical cut out detail)

Of all the styles I think the lace up style is set to explode. It was a blogger favourite last summer but I think we will see it go more mainstream now that there are so many options. I am definitely going to pick up a flat version but that gorge JCREW lace up heeled sandal is very tempting as well.

You will notice that a chunkier heel is also more prevalent this year. Not exactly the block heel that we saw in the late 90’s but thicker than a stiletto for sure. It makes higher heels a bit more walkable with more support.
