Spring is coming although it might not be obvious after the freezing rain and snow we just got. The kids are home as the schools are cancelled but I am looking ahead to the next season. I am drawn to softer colours and textures for this next season.
Soft Spring Wish List
Voluminous Cotton Blouse – I seem to pick up some sort of blue stripe blouse or dress every year. This one I like because it isn’t your standard button down. It has the mandarin collar and a different sleeve. This would work half tucked or fully loose. I also like this blouse which has the same feel but a pretty print.
Loose fit broderie anglaise top – another thing I stock up on every year is white blouse. This one is super pretty. I can see myself wearing this to the office tucked into high waisted linen pants too.
Printed silk blend blouse – this top is so pretty! Reminds me of a spring meadow.
Cheeky jeans – Ok so these I have already ordered in artist clay which for some reason I did now show here. This is the aqua grey. Regardless I am really feeling like of white, ecru jeans and these felt like they were in that neutral not blue vein of denim.
Way high slim jean – I have way high skinny jeans that I still like but am really feeling this more straight leg version of. Especially in this moss colour.
White wide leg jeans – these are the white version of the jeans I am wearing here. I haven’t pulled the trigger on these as it seems too early for white jeans but I am planning to soon.
Relaxed mid length trench – I like that this trench is not traditional khaki brown but instead a khaki green colour. I also really like that it is single breasted. But how many trenches does one person need in a country that seems to skip the transition seasons so quickly? I am torn.
Dixson fisherman mule – fisherman sandals are having a moment. I like that this is a mule version. I would get much more wear out of this for sure.
Onitsuka Tiger California 78 ex sneaker – I love the neutral look of these. Or these that have more heel cushion. I know I will be getting some new sneakers this spring. My feet are getting pickier than they used to be though! Do I go for the Hokas even though I find their colours to be jarring? Do I go with something like this? TBD.
Helene Bucket Bag – I love the look of this bag. I have been drooling over it since last year.
Cat Eye sunglasses – These are a fun option but my all time faves are still these for cheap sunglasses.
I have found myself drawn to more this season. I have updated my bras and layering tanks. I feel like by the time spring actually hits I will be more than ready.
