If you are a Nordstrom Card Holder today is like your Christmas. OR Black Friday. It is Black Friday in July. On a Thursday. You know what I mean. Fall styles are all on sale for a limited time and people are going crazy. Especially bloggers. I am up and sharing my coat picks to start with because I generally find my faves in that section. These are my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Coat picks for 2018.
Nordstorm Anniversary Sale Coats
- Long Knit Coat – this drapey coatigan is gorgeous. It looks like it should be reversible. I love the two tone grey and white.
- Ruby Wool Blend Coat – I am a sucker for a red coat and this one is no exception. I love how the coat closes across the body.
- Astoria Rain Jacket – I don’t NEED a rain coat but I love the stripe lining on this one and that it is truly waterproof not water resistant.
- Colorblock Coat – first off this jacket is a steal at under $100. Second I love a good colorblock coat. This is the type of coat you see pop up on your pinterest feed and you want it instantly.
- Pink Faux Fur – how pretty is this coat? It is a bit retro but it is the type of coat that easily goes from weekend with jeans to over dresses.
- Pillow Down and Feather fill jacket – this is the type of coat I want on the ski hill. Sleek and chic looking but still warm. I love how this nips at the waist.
- Clairene Plaid Coat – this is probably my favourite plaid coat of the whole sale and there are a few. Yes it is still pricey but it drapes so beautifully. I love the contrasting grey collar. Shorties like me could roll the sleeves for more contrast.
- Faux Fur Teddy Bear Coat – this is the teddy coat I wish I had gotten last year. If you are still into this style (they are crazy warm) snap this up while you can.
- Colorblock rain coat – I couldn’t get away with doing a round up like this without some kind of stripe?! This raincoat has a fantastic cut as it swings away from the body.
There are so many coats on sale right now these aren’t even all of my favourites. All my picks from the catalog are still fantastic like this or this. There is a wide variety of choices but one trend still stands out to me and that is menswear. There were more menswear plaids and hounds tooth than there was any teddy coats or other styles. It will be interesting to see if this trend truly persists through FW 2018/2019.
