Patterned denim, a throw back to the floral denim of the 1990’s was huge this spring and summer. And florals, patterns and bold colours are all back for fall but in a reinvented way.
Patterns are more neutral, colours are richer and metallics make a comeback after popping up in coated denim last fall.

What I like about how printed denim has gone for Fall 2012 is that the florals are less in your face and I think easier to wear. Pair them with a black sweater and some booties and you have a funky yet comfy outfit.
The rich colours, paisley and brocades somehow make denim luxurious. The metallic are going to be so fun for Holiday parties. My favourites though are those Ombre Grey Helmut jeans. Wouldn’t they look fun with the JCREW Heart Sweater?
