Mango or Isabel Marant?

I have been really impressed with Mango recently. I never really thought they had alot of great stuff when there was a store open in Toronto, but the items I have picked up from the online store recently have been fantastic.

There has been a decidedly Marant-esque vibe to the tops in the summer collection. Boho details and ruffles.

isabel marant blouse, mango blouseThe Isabel Marant blouse (here, here or here, also in pink), goes for north of $800 has much more detail with the pleats, lace and ruffles. The Mango look – a – like is a mere $40.

In fact Mango has quite a few blouses currently that have that Marant vibe (I ordered this one in the white, but also this & this are fantastic) and all are super affordable. Not all of them are cotton but I am just picky that way. I find that if I stick with natural materials, fast fashion items look way more expensive.

Which would you buy?

Love them both but I'd go for the cheaper one!

Nice find. I'd go with the Mango shirt too.. I think the ruffle on the Marant shirt is a bit too much.

I do find that when the high street reinvents designer items they make them more wearable.

I am loving the mango items. Plus I can't wrap my head around $800 for a blouse.
