Late Fall School Run Outfit

The weather has been all over the place lately. Some days I can get away with a hoodie (this one) and others I need a bit more warmth. I have been into these longer quilted coats as a sportier option that isn't a rain coat.
This style of coat is kind of a longer field jacket. I do have a traditional field jacket but it comes off as more preppy and since they are shorter I prefer to wear it with jeans. The longer styles can easily work with leggings and sneakers as well as jeans.
My outfit details: coat // jeans // boots (gifted) // bag // strap // sweater
The one I have is from Zara (current 2020) and it is lightweight kind of like a packable puffer weight. But there are a bunch of different options that I have found lately.

This option comes in a bunch of colours in addition to the traditional olive.

Loving the belted style and the shawl collar on this option. The belted versions of these coats definitely look more up scale.

This option looks the most like a traditional field jacket. I always appreciate a hood.

This is the coat that started it all for me. I chose the Zara option because it shipped locally but I still think this coat is super chic. The high neck and more cotton fabric makes it look high end.

All of the other options are more lightweight coats. For where I live in Canada they are coats for fall or spring. Not something to wear when the temperatures go below zero. If you like the look but want to have it work for winter this is your option.

Love these coats !
Thanks so do I! Great for walking the dog or school pick up.
Hi there, I don't see a link to your Zara coat - did you get it online at Zara Canada?
I did and it is current. You can find it here.
Thanks so much!
Jane, I have another question - how tall are you?
I am 5'4 so if you are taller the coat is not going to be as long. I have taller friends who on them the coat hits more knee / top of thigh area.
Ignore my question - I had a look at your 'About Me' page, you're the same height as me, 5'4". I like where the bottom of the coat hits, I think I'll order it. Thanks for the review!
Oops - didn't see your reply! Thanks!
Not to worry! I hope you enjoy the coat. I have been wearing it loads with the temperatures we are having lately.
