Chunky Heel Sandals

I love a good pointy toe heel. They are sleek and upgrade any look. But lets face it they aren’t exactly comfort wear. Sometimes you want something more walkable, something that won’t sink into the grass. Chunky heel sandals is a great alternative. They still look fantastic with a sun dress but the wider block heel is more forgiving to the feet. Chunky summer heels, block heel sandals, chunky heel sandals

To me these are the perfect everyday heeled sandal. They look great with jeans, great with sundresses and the heels are totally walkable.

I am not sure why but this brown colour that I have picked for most of the chunky heel sandals is the ideal colour. Sure you could go with black but there is something about this tan colour that would look fantastic with dark denim as it would with white or stripes.

I also tried to find some styles that have a sling back strap instead of an ankle strap. There are SO MANY ankle strap sandals right now and if you are like me with short legs with calf muscles they just don’t work as well (unless you stick with a neutral colour that sort of fades into your skin). I find they cut off my leg and really just make me look shorter.

Still how cool are those fringe sandals?! Makes me want to throw all my ideas about ankle straps out the window and go for the fringey sandals. If I was to do that I would probably end up wearing these with ankle crop jeans so that the whole cut off leg thing doesn’t look so apparent.

What do you think of Chunky heel sandals? Are they too 70’s or just right?!
