3 stores I wish would open in Toronto

You know I love me some Toronto Shopping. I mean it is rare that I shop anywhere else. Well except online. I shop online ALOT. More than I would like to admit really.

Some of the online shopping is just out of convenience. I mean if you aren't going to charge me shipping why would I go to the store?  But others I wish I could actually go and try things on and see the merchandise locally.

Two of these shops are Canadian, just West Coast boutiques with an online presence and one is an American fave.

The first shop is a boutique in Vancouver's south Granville neighbourhood, Oliver & Lilly's. I have been stalking this shop online for years. Before they actually had online shopping in fact. They regularly post to their blog so you always know what is in store. And in fact they had no problem shipping items before they opened their online boutique. Brands like Heidi Merrick, APC and all sorts of locally made accessories, this shop is the epitome of easy West Coast style.

And if you see something on their blog or Facebook that isn't in the online shop just contact them and they will ship it to you if they have any in store. Aren't they sweet?

This second Canadian brand is one I just fell for recently. Oak + Fort has two locations, one in Edmonton and one in Vancouver, plus an online shop. Minimalist clothing and edgy accessories, the boutiques carry a mix of in house designs and sourced clothing. Plus prices are REALLY affordable.

The younger sister to JCREW, I am hoping that said boutique finds success in Canada so that Madewell will set up shop here too. Collaborations with fashion fave Alexa Chung aside, I like the quiet, easy, slightly off beat feel of this brand. Its reinvention gets my seal of approval. I am lusting after their coloured denim for spring and seem to pick up one of their scarves every year.
