White Blazer & Island Tee
I have shied away from novelty tees for a while now. Sure I would rock a boho print but most of my t-shirts are plain or stripes. No quirky sayings or logos or scenes.
In fact since the early 2000's tees like these haven't really been all that popular outside the Abrecrombie, Aeropostale and American Eagle crowd.
But lately I have been impressed with how these novelty tees have not only become popular again but they have been rethought in a more grown up way. From splashing merci and bonjour across the front to imprinting a retro island postcard. But how to style these t-shirts?
This week I am taking this JCREW Linen Island Tee and styling it three ways.
Today's outfit would otherwise be simply jeans and a tee, overly simplistic and casual. But add the long white blazer and a pointy toe shoe and BAM I feel like I should be heading out for brunch or a meeting.
