Winter Wonderland

So by now you have either heard about or lived through Snowmagedon. The funny thing is that this is what I call a real Canadian winter. One that we seem to have been missing for a while. Sure usually this kind of accumulation doesn't get dumped on us in 24 hours but it feels good to be buried in the white stuff.

A snowstorm isn't exactly known for style inspiration but I love the look of this coat with a backdrop of snow. I think it makes the white faux fur collar pop. I picked up the hat and mittens combo of the big kids section of Joe Fresh, in an extra-large which rivals the adult sizing. I just love the soft pink colour with the grey of the coat.

I hope you survived the storm and took some time to enjoy all the snow. I took my son for a sleigh ride and my daughter had fun while we dug ourselves out. I saw kids sleigh riding down the big hill near Riverdale farm and even people cross-country skiing in the city.
