Preppy Biker
Stripes and denim is a fairly standard look for me lately. And it tends to come off a bit preppy when worn alone. But pile on a biker vest and all of a sudden it is something more.
I picked up this Bod & Christensen leather biker vest at winners on deep discount and how could I resist. I mean a genuine leather vest for less than $100!!
I think between the skinny jeans and the navy leather vest, this outfit goes from preppy to preppy with a twist in no time.
This vest is actually the perfect layer for the cooler mornings we have been having lately without layering up too much for the hot afternoons.
I will admit that I pulled out this vest to wear during FNO and ended up sweating like crazy until I took it off. It is super warm!
That time I did another unexpected (well expected if you are a blogger) pairing of this blouse and these shoes.

LOVE this vest!!! Right on trend for fall. I like the styling too. I wouldn't have thought to put black with the blue and red but it looks great!
