Hot Summer; Simple Summer Dress

I wore this simple Summer dress from Joe at the tail end of last week when the heat wave descended upon Toronto. I put it on repeat at the cottage to snap some pictures.

I seriously considered getting a maxi dress, there is a maxi version of this dress. But I prefer this style, easier for movement and better for my short legs.

Of course I went for a stripe print but I kind of like that it is reverse of the tops that I have in that it is blue with a white stripe as opposed to white with a blue stripe.

One thing about this dress is the racer back, which I seem to never have the right bra for and I hate when bra straps show with a racer back top; so I tend to layer a tank underneath.
