What I bought and liked pre Fall ⋆ chic everywhere

I have officially given up on summer. I am so ready for fall. But I mean proper fall not that cool mornings hot afternoons crap September brings. I want to wear chunky knits boots and scarves. And so my purchases have been all fall related lately. I am moving on even if the weather isn’t ready yet. I am sharing what I bought and I liked plus a few wish list items.

What I bought and I liked

This Funnel neck cashmere sweater is amazing. It is a tunic length on me (I am 5’4) so you could pair with leggings if that is your jam. I will be wearing it with skinny or slim straight jeans. The fit is true to size unless you want it fitted. I would say if you want a fitted cashmere sweater go with something like this instead.

Yes I am still wearing skinny jeans. Particularly these ones. I think we should just wear what we like instead of being ruled by trends. Just pick from the trends that you like and leave the rest. It isn’t that I don’t like wider leg denim. I do! I just like skinnier jeans for the colder months as they tuck into boots better and look great with a tunic sweater.

This bag! The colour is gorgeous. The leather is lovely. The size is larger than my Victor bag or this BA&SH bag. But not so large that you feel that it is too big to be used as a cross body bag. I think we are going to see more colour incorporated into peoples outfits this year. I am bringing back a pop of red.

Scarf season approaches and I am always on the hunt for good ones. Why? I don’t know it isn’t like I need a new scarf but I love them. This one gives black Stuart Tartan vibes which will be perfect for the Holiday Season.

Another gorgeous scarf. This would work so well with whites and camel coats for fall and winter. This scarf is a bit smaller than the one before as it is not as wide. But it would still be quite chunky and warm. Both are acrylic which is my preference of scarf. They are more affordable and softer for the face and neck which I find more sensitive to itchy fabrics.

What’s on my Radar

This slouchy Dad Coat is on my radar. It reminds me of this coat I picked up last year but the pattern is different. Last years belted coat has a houndstooth pattern. This pattern is herringbone. I love the look of a slouchy coat and the fact that you can easily layer up underneath.
