Bash Teddy Bag Review

When I started following Sezane I found all these other french brands that carried cool french chic clothing and accessories. One was Bash. Or Ba&sh if you want to be more correct. My issue with the brand is their clothing isn’t size inclusive at all. Their large is the equivalent of a US 8. But their accessories are pretty fantastic. I wanted a smaller cross body bag but in a more summery colour pallet. My Bash Teddy Bag review will share why I think this bag is so popular.

Bash Teddy Bag Review

The Ba&sh Teddy Bag is their signature bag. It is small bag with rounded design and boho inspired braided details. The big front buckle does seem to vary in some of the styles but for the most part is a rounded rectangular ring.

The front flap snaps closed with a magnetic closure. Inside there is a main compartment with two pockets although one is almost too small to be useable. There is also a pocket on the outside on the back.

This bag is slightly smaller than my Sezane Victor half moon bag. That being said I find it easier to access things inside because of the flap vs zipper opening. I can fit my small wallet, phone and keys and not much else. This is a bag for minimal stuff. More of what I use to run errands without my kids or for sightseeing.

The strap on my Teddy Bag is more of a guitar strap style. Other Teddy bags have a thinner leather strap. They are removable so you can change out for a strap that you prefer. I like the wider strap, and the pattern plays into the boho feel of the braided detail on the clasp area.

Most of the Teddy bags are leather or suede. Mine is a mix of linen and leather. They didn’t cheap out though as the interior is not fabric but the leather. There is quite a bit of structure to this bag. It doesn’t need to be padded out to hold its shape. You can really feel the quality of this bag.

This bag reminds me a bit of the Chloe Tess bag minus the door knocker. Or the Marant Botsy Bag.

What do you think of the BASH Teddy Bag review? Is this bag on your radar? Personally I really like the details and the quality of the bag, even though it will not replace my larger bags day to day.
