I realized after I had taken these photos that all I needed to complete this look was a walking stick and a stripe toque. Then I would look like Where’s Waldo.
But in reality this red stripe shirt is one that translates well into both office and casual outfits.
While dark wash jeans are what I gravitate towards I can’t deny that summer is for light wash denim. These jeans are the Perfect summer jean from Madewell. While I like them they are far from perfect. I think I need to crop them a bit more for me to really enjoy them. Not really a boyfriend jean and not a skinny. They are more like a 1993 jean because I swear I wore something similar back in the day.
The top is on sale right now. On sale with an extra 50% off which to me is a no brainer. I have worn this top with dress pants and I plan to wear it with skirts too this summer. It is so versatile. Plus it is one of those tops that would be perfect for Canada Day or Independence Day outfits.
