It has been super hot this past week and for me that means it is skirt season. I bought this one back before the snow was gone because I loved the tie at the front. The black gingham was a nice change to my usual blue stripes too.
On my epic vacation try on I paired this skirt with a graphic tee. For the office I paired it with a plain black tee. I actually prefer this look as it is more classic looking. This will be on repeat through the summer I am sure.
I chose to pair this outfit with a low heel sandal but I could have just as easily worn them with this higher block heel. The pop of red plays into the playfulness of the print in the skirt.
The basket bag was more for the pictures since I had a second bag that held all my day to day items and my lunch. I can’t seem to get away with a small bag when it comes to going to work. Still if I was just going out for the day I would totally go with this basket bag.
