Vacation Shoes Try On

We are counting down the days until our family vacation and I thought I would share the shoes I am packing. I actually had to unpack my suitcase to take these out to share with you so it will be back to organizing my suitcase again.

white knot sandals, vacation shoes packing

White knot sandals – These have a footbed very similar to a Birkenstock. But the leather straps are super soft and the knot detail is much more feminine and less hippie looking. I have wide feet and I found these to be a good fit. These sandals only come in full sizes and I went with an 8.

red flat strappy sandals

Red strappy sandals – these are the lightest and most flexible pair of sandals I have packed. They feel like a flip flop but more cushioned and way more chic. They are more narrow than the other options and I did size up to an 8.5.

leopard cross espadrille sandal

Leopard Espadrille Sandals – I am one of those people who can’t resist a leopard shoe. These espadrille sandals are no exception. They are a bit of a flatform style and generous on the sizing. They look like they are a bit narrow but they are actually quite loose really. I got an 8 and there is loads of room for my wide feet. Wouldn’t these look fantastic with a red coral nail polish on the toes?

everlane strap sandal

Double Strap Block Heel -gifted – So most of the shoes I am packing are flats because I find all inclusive resorts tend to have quite a bit of walking. That and I don’t think an outfit NEEDS heels to look good. Still I want to pack a pair of walkable heels for at least one fancier look. This neutral double strap heel does the trick.

pom pom mule slides

Pom Pom Mules – We all need an airport outfit and unlike some I don’t really dress for the destination. I find planes very cold and I would rather just take layers off when I get where I am going rather than freeze for the trip. I do think a mule would work in lieu of a sandal for the plane ride. If you need to cover up your feet more for the flight pack some extra socks. I might just keep these mules in my carry on and wear sneakers (these are comfy for all day walking) for the first leg of traveling. PS these mules come in lavender and blue too.
