Traveler Gift Guide

If you have been following this blog through the years you know our family likes to travel. Well not as much as some travel influencers who are always on the go. But we do a few major trips through the year and loads of weekends away in the summer. While we love exploring there are things we always pack to make our lives easier. Warm layers for the plane. Gadgets to make sure we can charge everything in a different country and an e reader to pack as many books as we can possibly read. If you know someone who loves to travel or has to travel for work this is your Traveler Gift Guide.

Traveler Gift Guide:

  1. The Traveler Wallet – Where has this wallet been all my life? It is the perfect combination of passport holder and wallet. I love the red colour and not just for the Holidays. But it also comes in some cool neutral shades as well. I was lucky to have Everlane send me one to try out and it doesn’t just look good. Watch for a longer review but the gist is that I can fit everything I was carrying before but it looks sleeker. And I can’t wait to put my passport in there too. I think this would be an excellent gift for the frequent flyer and someone who just likes great accessories.
  2. International Universal All in One Worldwide Travel Adapter – I bought this USB travel adapter when we went to Prague Budapest and Vienna. My parents have been borrowing it for all their overseas trips too.  It was the first time that the adapter worked without having to buy another part or frying out a hair dryer. It is perfect for charging phones and e-readers and even power banks.
  3. Travel Bottle Set – I am going to be honest they are not the greatest for sunscreen. It is so hard to get them clean after but for everything else these are ideal. Especially for shampoo, conditioner and other hair products you might buy in bulk and want to take smaller versions of on vacation.
  4. Long Cashmere Cardigan – If there is one thing I want with me while on the plane is a cashmere cardigan or wrap. Especially when I need to sleep on a long flight. The one I have linked is similar to the one I wear ALL THE TIME and it came with me to London. Bonus? It is on sale.
  5. Twist Memory Foam Travel Pillow – I like this pillow for a number of reasons but most of all because it is manuverable to fit how you want to sleep.
  6. Reusable Silicone Bag – I usually use zip lock bags to secure liquids so they don’t spill but I am thinking I want to get some of these silicone reusable bags from now on. Not only can I use them for liquids but they come in handy if you are packing snacks while out sightseeing.
  7. Classic Overnight Bag – Not every trip has to be overseas. But a weekender can be used for more than just the weekend too. I like to use these bags as my carry on and as long as I don’t overpack they still fit into the seat in front of me on a plane. Plus this bag looks so chic!
  8. Convertible leather backpack – while I am traveling I don’t like to completely change my style. Which means I like to carry a backpack that can still look like a purse if I want it to.
  9. Leather Zip Pouch – I like to have a number of different pouches to keep everything organized while traveling. This one is so cute it could double as a sleek clutch if need be. And it is big enough to hold a small e-reader or travel documents.
  10. Kindle Paperwhite – I personally have a Kobo but since those seem to be a Canadian thing I thought I would share a Kindle as well. I used to be one of those paper books only people. However the ease of just taking one e-reader and having access to many books is really fantastic. Even if you read paper books at home an e-reader is fantastic for travel.

If you know someone travelling this year other items to give are a chic rain jacket or cute sneakers. These are my most worn items when I am touring around especially when you go on the shoulder seasons. That and a scarf. You can’t go wrong gifting a scarf. This one is my fave right now and it will go with everything. If I had to only gift one item from this list I would go with the travel wallet as it will be great when traveling and at home.
