That’s Life

We had a long weekend here in Canada and after my first week back at work in a very long time it was nice for it to be a short week. We did some DIY upgrades on our new home, mostly upgrading the ugly cheap builder lights to something more our style. I spent my weekend at Home Depot more than anywhere else!

Still in between rain showers we got to spend some time outside with friends too.

I tested out  a new spot to take outfit photos and I am so glad I did. The setting is just perfect and totally worth the effort to go somewhere other than trying to make my neighbourhood work. Plus the traffic in my new city is so much more manageable when compared to Toronto, I can get their fairly quickly and I don’t have to pay for parking!

Plus this park is so pretty. I don’t really remember it but supposedly my parents used to take me here when I was very little. I guess life has come full circle.
