Stripe Dress two ways

Little tweaks to an outfit can have big impacts. In today’s post I have only changed two things (the sandals and bag) and I feel like it has a big change on the feel of the outfit. The stripe dress and bleached jean jacket are a fairly basic look so accessories are needed to punch it up and give the outfit your spin.

I wore this stripe dress on our first day of vacation last week and I will say that I much prefer it without vacation hair (think Monica on Friends when they go to the Caribbean). If I was wearing this dress to work the neutral sandal is exactly what I would go for and the jean jacket is the perfect layer to dress the whole look down a bit.

To play into the relaxed vibe of the denim jacket I swapped out the heel sandals for the multi strap red sandals and a leopard bag. I wore the sandals non stop on vacation as they are super comfortable. I have mentioned before that I have a bunion on my right foot. The straps can be placed so that they can accommodate your foot shape which is really great. Plus these sandals are light weight and super flexible but much more chic than your basic flip flop.

This stripe dress is super versatile. It has a cute short sleeve and the detail at the waist makes it super flattering. It has pockets and the fabric is great for travel as it really minimizes wrinkles. The length is great too especially if you are looking to wear it into the office through the summer.
