It is the time of year when puffer coats are making an appearance. They aren’t my favourite type of winter coat style wise but there comes a time when a puffer jacket outfit is absolutely necessary.
A good puffer coat is perfect for a winter walk or any time when you know that you will be outside in the snow for an extended period of time.
When it is too cold for anything but a puffer coat I want it to be warm and stylish. I liked the collar on this coat and the button up detail.
I prefer a duck down coat. They are warmer than any of the polyester fill coats but I can understand that not everyone wants to go with down. Although you can get recycled down which is a great option.

For me a great puffer coat will have some sort of detail that will keep it from just looking like a ski jacket. Like the hood on the coat here, or the collar on this one. Are you looking for a longer coat? I love this one. Or you can get a longer version of the coat I am wearing. It comes in a midi length and long.
