New Years Style Resolutions; buy only what I can afford

If you asked my husband he would say I should go on a shopping hiatus a la 365fashionrehab.com. With only one salary and one website empire slowly building I don't disagree with this opinion but I have the will power of a 2 year old when it comes to new clothes.

Originally I had brainstormed this post to be about shopping on consignment. And while that is one solution I will use it is just ONE solution.

I plan on exploring more fast fashion brands to find gems that fit well. Wait for sales and just avoid places like Holt Renfrew so that I am not tempted to buy designer items I can't afford.

This idea also brings me back to what I resolved earlier in the week; to wear what I have. That might mean instead of buying a new outfit, I could buy a new accessory to breath new life into an old outfit.

How do you plan on staying on budget this year?
