I wore this to work on Monday. It was cool in the morning and I was feeling the more autumnal vibe of this outfit. I love the suede sleeveless trench especially for transitional outfits. It allows me to add an extra layer without over heating when it is still hot in the late afternoon.
I have been using the leopard bag as my every day bag lately. It is a good size to carry everything with extra room for my lunch or kid junk if I need to carry extras.
I am not sure if I am just over summer but I have been wearing more of my pant wardrobe lately. I am over summer dresses. Well at least until the next heat wave! I probably wouldn’t be able to get away with this outfit without working in an air conditioned office all day.
There are only a couple more weeks of summer holidays. My kids will be in their last week of camp next week which I am kind of regretting not booking them in something for the last week of summer as I know I won’t have as much free time as I hoped. They will be going into the office with me for a few days I think!
Even with a few more weeks of summer I don’t see myself wearing scarves and big sweaters any time soon but I do hope we have more a of a transition to fall this year. The last few years it seems like it is hot one week and freezing cold the next with more of a summer to winter jump without much real fall weather.
