Jackets Required

It has been about a month since I last did an outfit post. Probably the last time it even remotely felt like spring! I think I speak for all Ontarians when I say that when winter came back it was like a cold slap in the face. But I guess we are much more appreciative of spring now  that it is really here.

While I have been running around in shorts and t-shirts in the last couple of afternoons, jackets are still required for mornings when the air is crisp and cool. I picked up this ASOS coat back when I did this post and it turned out really great.

The olive green is really flattering and even though it is the same weight as a trench coat it is a different shape which mixes things up nicely.

This outfit aside from the coat is filled with old favourites. My Everlane loafers which have been allowed out of my work shoe drawer now that there is no longer snow on the ground. My black Yoga Jeans, a colourful Theodora and Callum scarf and my Opelle bag.

I know I have been a bad blogger lately and not posting as often as I should, and I promise that after the next few weeks you will see posting increase to past frequency. Tax season was extra busy this year for me as I am taking on more responsibility at work. Even as I type that I know it is only part of the issue. When you have been blogging as long as I have thinking of new things to say becomes a thing. Outfit posts are a nice way to fill the void when you have less to talk about but you also need to make time to take the pictures. I didn’t make alot of time for that this winter.

I have a bunch of plans for the blog this spring summer which will usher in an era of change here and I am really looking forward to it!
