Stylish Rain Coats & Rainboots
They say April showers bring May flowers which means this is the perfect time to be thinking about updating to stylish rain coats and rainboots.
The last few years I have been just making do with my trench coat but with anything more than a light drizzle I find it just isn't rain proof enough to be considered a real rain coat. But so many rain jackets are sporty and not really nice to look at, this list is different. I would choose any one of these and be very happy.
Of course you also need a cute pair of boots to make it through the puddles on a really rain soaked day.

- Joules Womens Coast Print Waterproof Hooded Jacket - You know me, can't turn down a stripe. This one is so classic. The only thing I wish this coat was slightly longer to keep your bottom from getting too wet. I paired this coat with the traditional red hunter boot to really play up the classic pairing.
- The Mac by Boden - You know the Brits they do know a thing or two about rain. This classic Mac is waterproof and comes in a variety of styles, including stripes. I liked that the print on this one was not too overbearing but still added an element of fun. I paired this coat with this color block mid calf boot which is great for those of us who don't fit Hunters!
- Rubber Jacket - What I like about this jacket is that it has that army jacket vibe but it is rubber so it is defintely water proof. Great for that cool girl vibe. I played that up with the boot pairing; can't go wrong with a biker boot in a unique shade.
- Joules Womens Raina Fleece Lined Jacket - Cold rain is the worst isn't it?! I think I hate it more than snow. This rain jacket has you covered and the floral is so romantic. Because the print of the jacket is bold I went with a sleek tall black rainboot.
- Rain Trench in Waxed Finish with Stripe - Another stripe but this one is not so classic and a bit more fun. I love the waxy texture which really shouts I am ready for you rain, BRING IT! I went with an easy to pull on short boot which lets face it for adults is really all you need. Are you really going up to your knees in puddles? I think not.
You will notice all the stylish rain coats have hoods which means they aren't just great looking but they are also really functional. There is nothing I hate more than being caught in the rain unprepared!
