15 Must Have Summer Sandals

This week is the official launch of Summer and I think (hope?) we will have some consistent sandal weather now!

I have picked out some of my favourite summer sandal styles; everything from lace up sandals to low wedges to chunky heels.

Flip through the look book and find your must have summer sandals.

I seem to live in a flat gladiator style of some sort from day to day but when I want to take a skinny jean or a skirt from casual to dressy it is all about the heel.

Low wedges seem to get alot of flack from the high heel set but really just a little lift is all you need to make your legs look fantastic and a low wedge is totally walkable.

See how I style the three different major styles below:

summer sandals styled three waysOutfit 1: Dress/sandals/bracelets/necklace Outfit 2: Dress/necklace/sandals Outfit 3: Jeans/tank/sandals

I love the dress in the first outfit. It has a bold pattern but with the black background I think people who are afraid of patterns will be drawn to it.  Would put a fun necklace and layer on some bracelets. Where I went a bit bolder with the jewellery (maybe add some more to your arm party and you get the idea) I kept the shoe flat. The flat sandals make this dress perfect for exploring a flea market or walking through a neighbourhood after brunch.

Outfit number two is pure glamour but in a whimsical way. The colours are unexpected for an event in the evening but would totally work for a garden party or wedding shower or afternoon wedding. I love the contrast between the colour of the dress and the colour of the shoes.

I think strappy sandals look amazing with skinny jeans. They don't cut off the ankle the same way as when you wear them with a dress or shorts. The studded straps on these sandals made me think of edge so I paired them with a mirror print muscle tee.

How would you wear the sandals of the summer?
